Registers

A register is similar to a grille in appearance, but it is a more complicated piece of equipment and is used to adjust the flow of air to and from a room.

A register will have a lever or knob to enable the air flow to be adjusted so that it is open, closed or partly open. The damper can be closed to avoid heating or cooling a room that isn’t being used.

A register can be floor or wall mounted.
